Georgetown/Scott County Tourism Wins Big with Three Award-Winning Campaigns

Georgetown/Scott County Tourism proudly celebrates its recent recognition for outstanding marketing and promotional efforts, winning accolades for three exceptional campaigns:

These award-winning initiatives underscore the creativity, collaboration, and dedication of the Georgetown/Scott County Tourism team in showcasing the charm, attractions, and experiences that make Georgetown and the Bluegrass Region premier travel destinations.

“That’s Georgetown, KY for Ya”

This campaign stood out for its striking visuals, which are set to anchor future marketing efforts. The graphics will feature prominently on Georgetown’s revamped website, brochures, and promotional materials, offering a fresh and engaging representation of the town’s unique character and appeal.

Bluegrass Region Joy Ride Campaign

The Joy Ride campaign was a collaborative effort involving 16 counties: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Scott, and Woodford. This regional partnership celebrated the best of the Bluegrass, showcasing each county’s distinctive offerings. The campaign achieved an impressive 777 million media impressions and reached 18.4 million media IMPs, positioning the Bluegrass Region as a must-visit destination.

Kentucky After Dark

This campaign spotlighted 21 destinations, including Beattyville-Lee County, Brandenburg-Meade County, Cadiz, KY, Franklin-Simpson County, Cynthiana-Harrison County, and many more. Focused on Kentucky’s mysterious and after-hours attractions, “Kentucky After Dark” achieved 1.7 billion impressions and generated $16.08 million in earned media value, drawing attention to the state’s rich folklore and paranormal experiences.

Capturing the Spirit of Kentucky
